Description
A refreshing, naturally sweet, and completely sugar-free detox island green smoothie made with spinach, kale, pineapple, banana, and ginger.
Ingredients
1 handful baby spinach
1 handful kale leaves
1/2 ripe banana
1/2 green apple (chopped)
1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
1 cup filtered water
1/2 cup ice cubes
Optional: 1 tbsp chia seeds or a splash of aloe vera juice
Instructions
1. Add spinach and kale to the blender.
2. Add banana, green apple, and pineapple chunks.
3. Grate in fresh ginger.
4. Pour in filtered water and add ice cubes.
5. Blend until smooth and creamy.
6. Taste and adjust thickness with extra water if needed.
7. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with mint or a pineapple slice.
Notes
Use frozen pineapple for a colder, thicker smoothie.
Add chia seeds for extra protein.
Add aloe vera juice to support digestion.
Prep a double batch and store the second serving in a sealed mason jar for up to 24 hours.
