Ingredients
1.5 pounds ground beef (80/20 or 85/15 lean to fat ratio)
4 large burger buns or 8 slider rolls
4 slices cheddar cheese or 1 cup shredded
4 large lettuce leaves or 1 cup shredded
1 medium tomato, sliced
1 small red onion, sliced
1 cup dill pickles, sliced
3 tablespoons BBQ sauce
Instructions
Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat
Divide beef into 4 equal patties (or 8 for sliders), season with salt and pepper
Grill burgers 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, 4-5 minutes for well-done
Top with cheese slices during last 2 minutes of cooking
Toast buns on grill for 1-2 minutes
Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and BBQ sauce
