Description
These creamy and smoky deviled eggs are a timeless favorite, perfect for entertaining or elevating any casual meal. With a silky yolk filling enhanced by crispy bacon and tangy mustard, each bite offers a flavorful contrast that’s simple yet satisfying.
Ingredients
12 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
4–6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled or finely chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise, full-fat recommended for creaminess
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Hard-boil the eggs by placing them in a pot and covering them with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 10-12 minutes. Transfer eggs to cold water and peel them.
Halve the eggs lengthwise and gently remove the yolks into a mixing bowl.
Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, crumbled bacon, salt, and black pepper. Mash the yolks and mix until smooth and creamy, adjusting seasoning as needed.
Spoon the mixture back into the egg whites, mounding it slightly. Place in the refrigerator to chill while preparing the next batch.
Once all deviled eggs are filled, serve chilled and enjoy.
Notes
Chill the deviled eggs before serving to allow the filling to firm up.
For a non-meat alternative, substitute bacon with crispy halal-certified smoked turkey bacon.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
