Ingredients
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt
In another bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy
Add peanut butter and mix until smooth
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until a soft dough forms
Use a tablespoon to form balls of dough and place 2 inches apart on parchment-lined baking sheets
Press a fork into each dough ball in a cross-hatch pattern
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly golden on the edges
Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack
