A creamy, no-bake banana pudding trifle layered with Nilla wafers and ripe bananas. Perfect for family gatherings or cozy desserts, this trifle combines instant vanilla pudding, milk, and whipped topping for a nostalgic, easy-to-make treat.
Ingredients
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) container thawed whipped topping
1 cup Nilla wafers (crushed or whole)
2–3 ripe bananas (sliced)
Instructions
Mix pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Layer 1/3 of Nilla wafers in the bottom of a trifle dish.
Spread half the pudding mixture evenly over the wafers.
Add 1/2 the banana slices.
Repeat layers: wafers, remaining pudding, and remaining bananas.
Top with whipped topping.
Sprinkle crushed Nilla wafers over the surface.
Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
For a halal option, use a store-bought whipped topping free of gelatin. Substitute homemade meringue (4 egg whites + 1/2 cup sugar) if preferred. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours for best freshness.
