Description

Creamy cheesecake filling with a graham cracker crust and a tangy cherry topping, baked into easy-to-share bars. Perfect for gatherings and home baking.

Ingredients

Scale

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
¼ cup granulated sugar (for crust)
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar (for filling)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 cup cherry pie filling (or 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and slightly mashed)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, ¼ cup sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into a 13×9-inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese, ¾ cup sugar, vanilla, and eggs until smooth. Spread over cooled crust. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely.
Spread cherry pie filling over warm filling. Chill for 1 hour. Cut into 16-20 bars.

Notes

For a halal option, use certified halal butter and cream cheese. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Serve chilled.
Can substitute frozen cherries (defrosted and drained) for cherry pie filling.
