Description
Warm, fluffy knots made with garlic, parmesan, and melted butter. Perfect for family meals or snacks. Simple to make with soft centers and golden crusts. A truly comforting side dish with a savory, garlicky twist.
Ingredients
1 pound (450g) pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
4–6 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). On a floured surface, roll dough into a 12×8-inch rectangle. Cut into 12 rectangles (or tear into 12 pieces). Roll each into a rope, twist into a knot, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, 1/4 cup Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture onto each knot. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan over the tops.
Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Let dough rest 5 minutes after rolling for easier shaping. Adjust garlic quantity to taste. Use a vegetable chopper for quick garlic and parsley mix. Brush excess butter over knots for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
