Ingredients

4 cups water
46 black tea bags
2 cinnamon sticks, broken into pieces
68 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
45 whole cloves
1 teaspoon non-alcoholic vanilla extract
1 cup milk
Sweetener of choice (e.g., sugar, honey, or syrup)


Instructions

Combine water, tea bags, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, ginger, and cloves in a pot.
Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract, and let steep for 10 minutes.
Strain the concentrate into an airtight container and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
To serve, mix 4 oz of chilled concentrate with 8 oz milk and desired sweetener in a glass over ice.
