A homemade peach frozen yogurt made with ripe peaches, heavy cream, and whole milk for a smooth, tangy dessert. Sweetened with sugar and brightened with lemon juice, this refreshing treat is perfect for summer.
Ingredients
4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Mash 3 cups of peaches into a smooth puree
In a large bowl, whisk together cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice until sugar dissolves
Stir in the peach puree and remaining chopped peaches
Chill mixture in refrigerator for at least 2 hours
Churn in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer instructions
Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until firm
