Ingredients
3 lbs chicken thighs
1 large onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups BBQ sauce (halal-certified)
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
12 slider buns
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C)
In a bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic, salt, and pepper
Season chicken with the dry rub
Place chicken in a baking dish, add chopped onion and garlic
Drizzle with apple cider vinegar
Bake for 2 hours
Brush with BBQ sauce and bake for another 1 hour
Shred chicken using two forks
Spoon chicken mixture into slider buns and serve
