Diced Tomatoes
28 oz can (undrained, fire-roasted optional)
Kidney Beans
15 oz can (rinsed and drained)
Black Beans
15 oz can (rinsed and drained)
Beef Broth
2 cups (or vegetable broth)
Chili Powder
2 tbsp
Cumin
1 tbsp
Oregano
1 tsp
Cayenne Pepper (optional)
0.5 tsp
Brown Sugar
1 tsp
Salt
1 tsp
Black Pepper

Olive Oil (optional for browning)

Instructions
Brown ground beef or turkey in a skillet with olive oil (optional), then drain excess fat.
Add onions and garlic to the skillet; cook until tender.
Transfer meat, onions, and garlic to the slow cooker.
Stir in tomatoes, beans, broth, and all spices.
Simmer on low for 6-8 hours (or high for 4-5 hours).
Adjust seasoning before serving.
Notes
Add olive oil if desired for crispy browning.
Use fire-roasted tomatoes for deeper flavor.
Stir occasionally for even cooking. Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3 days.
