Fresh lemons
2–3 (or to taste)
Granulated sugar
1 cup (adjust to taste)

Instructions
Rinse the dried hibiscus flowers and set them in a large saucepan.
Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let the hibiscus steep for 10 minutes.
Strain the hibiscus tea and return it to the saucepan.
Add sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
Let the sweetened hibiscus tea cool to room temperature.
In a blender, puree the strawberries and fresh lemon juice (from 2-3 lemons) until smooth.
Strain the strawberry-lemon mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp and seeds.
Combine the hibiscus tea and the strawberry-lemon mixture.
Top with ice cubes before serving.
Garnish with lemon and strawberry slices.
Notes
Adjust the amount of lemon or sugar according to your taste preference.
Use frozen strawberries if fresh are not in season—thaw before use.
The hibiscus can be steeped earlier in the day and chilled to save time.
For extra brightness, stir in a small amount of fresh mint before serving.
