Ingredients
1 box graham crackers, about 12-16 full sheets (for dipping)
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 12 oz)
3 cups large marshmallows (about 24-30)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (optional)
1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional, for caramel flavor)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
In a 9-inch oven-safe baking dish, spread the chocolate chips evenly
Top with marshmallows, spacing them slightly and overlapping slightly for even toasting
If using butter and brown sugar, drizzle them lightly over the marshmallows
Place the dish on the middle rack of your oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, until the marshmallows are golden and puffed
Carefully remove from the oven, let sit for a few minutes to melt further, then serve immediately with graham crackers for dipping
Notes
For a richer dip, use milk or dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet.
If you do not have a large baking dish, you can use a 9 by 13-inch casserole dish.
Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
