Ingredients
2 bread slices
2–3 slices cheese or 1/4 cup shredded cheese
1–2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 medium ripe tomato, sliced thick
Optional: Tomato soup (store-bought or homemade), for dipping
Instructions
Butter both sides of each bread slice evenly
Place cheese slices on one side of each bread
Top with thick tomato slices
Press the two halves together to form a sandwich
